I have not, and probably will not, go skydiving.
Though I do regret not going on a spontaneous trip to Ireland with my brother.

So, it seems some of you are seeing ads that are blocking the comic. Which is unfortunate, because that like ruins the whole point, right? The ads are supposed to be running in their designated play area, and I am not exactly thrilled to learn that there are either some buggy ads out there or that some clever asshole is playing Shawshank Redemption with Javascript and CSS.
Unfortunately we haven’t seen any of them, so we need your help to track them down. Please email/comment with screen shots, ad urls or descriptions of the offending ads. We have filters that might hide your comments but I will be monitoring for those.
We’ll report the offending ads to our providers for immediate removal.
Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for your help.
Reader Crystal Hill pointed out that we have been entered into ComicMix’s March Madness 2012, a contest in which we are destined to be destroyed by either Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal, Questionable Content or Penny Arcade.
Please vote for us to prolong our horrible suffering!
Okay, just spent $540 shipping 229 books to Calgary. (They’re printed in Canada, so in theory they’ll be okay crossing the border?) PLEASE come buy them from me at Calgary Expo next month! (I really don’t want to ship them back)

“Spontaneous Trip to Ireland”???!! You’re killing me here! lol.
Hudson.
Try indoor skydiving. All the fun, not so much danger.
Having jumped about fifty times there is no way floating over a big fan is the same thing. Also while that tandem jump is fun it still isn’t the same.
“Jumping out of a perfectly good airplane is not a natural act” ~~~ Gunnery Sgt Highway
I’m with Clint on this one, sorry. Only way I go skydiving is by force, and that means I likely wouldn’t have a parachute unless I STOLE one.
Come to Florida and talk to my friend Mike at http://www.facebook.com/ParachuteLabs in Deland. He’ll keep you safe!
I’ve been a fan of the comic for a while now, I just usually don’t post comments.
Seeing strips about your family, I’m regretting not going on a trip to Ireland with your brother! That would have been awesome.
Go skydiving at least once. I did it once and it was fun, not saying I will or won’t go again, but I am glad I have done it once. I am glad I wen’t it was a eye opening experience that changed my perspective on life in general.
Turns out statistically speaking skydiving is safer than driving on the interstate.
Find a reputable company and go do the day coarse and static line jump.
BUT for heaven sake tell your parents AFTER you have been!
Blog about it, write comics about it if you want, or not, but go jump at least once. I got my sister to go also
she hasn’t regretted it either.
My wife ran off one spring with 6 other ladies to Ireland. I get this text that they are having a great time at this pub in Galway and they are going to go look at the hookers next. Next text says they are at the docks looking at the hookers. Finally, she texts that hookers are a small sailing boat.
ALWAYS go on spontaneous trips to Ireland!!!
*says the woman who’s never been…but Wants To*
you could go indoor sky diving. It’s loads of fun without the “oh god I’m going to die”

You didn’t go to Ireland!
What’s wrong with Ireland? Apart from being filled with us Irish
It wasn’t Ireland that I had the problem with. It was the $700 plane ticket that gave me pause.
Nice accurate artwork for having never been.
google image search is my friend.
Went on a spontaneous trip to Ireland just last year, in fact. Well, if three weeks’ planning, and having to rush a surprisingly expired passport is spontaneous. Spent ten days traveling with a band with a bunch of other fans. Had my first proper Irish hangover in Killarney. Much, much Guinness was consumed that trip. The moral: ALWAYS take the spontaneous trip to Ireland.
Ireland is awesome, you should go, like, now
(irish lady says)
Always do what Irish ladies say! (Especially the redheads!! <3) but that's me…
Highly recommend you try the skydiving once!! Tandem jump is the best way for a first-timer. And you have the added sense of security, since the trained professional behind you has a vested interest in keeping you (and thus him/herself) alive. Most amazing rush ever!
What? Playing with firearms lost its appeal?
Only Ireland?
You have to come to other places in the UK too.
I was last in Ireland in 1974. While I was in the Navy. I loved it, the traveling, not the military.
Nah go Bungy jumping, your attached the whole time plus its not as high. @Rob take your parents with you, my whole family did it together and had a great time.
three fractal octopods: Barrington Punch Bowl.
Try white water rafting on the Lower Gauley in WV. I may be fatter than a calf elephant but god almighty that was fun! Just watch for the sluice of death >:)
As a person who has acrophobia (fear of heights), claustrophobia (fear of enclosed spaces), and aerophobia (fear of airplanes) skydiving was one of the most amazing experiences in my life. It wasn’t easy to go and I think I said every naughty word I’ve ever heard as the pushed be out the door, it was still something that is beyond beautiful. It being Hawaii helped.
Yeaaaaah..you can get me up in ione of those things, but that’s not the way I’m going to get out of one of those things. If I was meant o fly through the air without an airplane, I’d have been born in Superman jammies.
^Wholehearted^ agreement!! ^_^
Come to Australia spontaneously to make up for it! I promise to give you free accomodation….
Well, you could be like my Grandmother. Wait ’till your 84, THEN jump out an airplane for the first time!
(She loved it, and said she wants to do it again sometime, when the weather is nicer. She wants to go higher, fall longer, and see more. xD … Of course, that was 5 years ago, now.)
Jennie, your comics are shit!
We’ll give you notes and storyboards.
Achheesement unlocked!
Obby, you might want to find a way to block “John Pennis”. Deffinitly should remove “his” comments.
I’d love to go on spontaneous trips, but money is my obstacle too. I used to want to skydive…. Now I’m too paranoid. :-/
