Each year my family goes to the beach. We bring piles of nail polish and we all paint our toe nails different colors. My mom’s toes have silver sparkles, my sister has polka dots, my brothers toe nails are blue and I’ve been trying to put a dot of each color on my toes but have only gotten 1/4 of the way through the pile of nail polish. My three year old niece has told us that she counted 100 bottles of nail polish but I think it’s closer to thirty or forty. Obby is bonding with my nephew over “old” arcade games. My nephew gets confused when the opening of the game tells you to insert a coin. They’re playing Aliens vs. Predator. It was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles a second ago. I think the predator has a banana hammock on. My sister is down on the beach reading a book. I’m thinking of going to take a nap and contemplate a walk. These are the important decisions of a trip to the beach… maybe it’s time for a snack.

At the beach with Obby and my family.
I’m enduring a strict regiment of dominoes with my siblings, swimming in the ocean, collecting shells and eating too many snacks.
