“Hey guys, we aren’t really trying to get you all light torches and grab the pitchforks. This comic is just a reaction to a particularly bad convention where we lost quite a bit of money. After the first day it became obvious we were going to lose almost a thousand dollars, and every denied flyer offering just poured salt on our wounds. It wasn’t really the fault of the attendees or the convention. This show was just not a show for independent comic artists. The comic is just meant to illustrate despair, and is not trying to target anyone in particular.
