I’ll be in Seattle Washington next weekend for Emerald City Comic Con. I’m at table 1411. I’m next to:
The kid just had a spiel. It had nothing to do with anything. I’ve met a lot of people who just want to give their speech and being behind a convention table you nod and wait until they’ve talked themselves out and wonder off. Nothing you say or do will derail them from their script. This guy wasn’t malicious or talking about me or anything but he had hit me at the wrong time and I kinda went off on him. He honestly didn’t realize what he was saying could be offensive and I pointed out to him that he was telling me, a woman, that I should not make as much as a man. I kept shaking his hand and telling him that I had to go get some food. He came back later with a Reese’s cup for me and asked if I had gotten anything to eat.
I’ll be at GenCon next weekend in Indianapolis Indiana at table 1451 in the entrepreneur avenue.
I’ll be at table Q4. It’s in the Small Press area. Around the corner from the Webcomics area. Just go through doors B2, hit the back wall, and hang a right. They got us up against the wall. As it should be.
