The restaurant that we were getting ready for was Marrakesh in DC.
Between Happy Goth’s hand pleated sari and DCG’s Godessness, I was feeling a little frumpy.
The lovely lady in the hat is from Browncoats Redemption. Her t-shirt says Self Rescuing Princess. Happy Goth’s belt (it was a button) that says “Ravelry“. Everyone at the Maryland Sheep and Wool festival who had a Ravelry account wore buttons with their account name on it. Ravelry is a wonderful online knit and crochet community.
The eclairs were really that good.
I just wanted an excuse to draw that alpaca. He looked so fabulously emo. I lied in this comic. I had actually forgotten to bring my flame boots. Dragon Con Goddess has a pair from the same brand so everyone thought she was Jen. I was stunned by the number of readers that I have in the knitting community. I should probably look into getting a space at the Sheep and Wool festival to sell my books but I like walking the festival too much. Happy Goth had these great Indian earrings and her hair in long braids. I’m always surprised by how long her hair is. She keeps it up so often that I forget that it’s down to her waist.
For those wondering where these bra adventures took place:
Also, I’ve asked the kind folks at Keenspot to redirect the Geebas site. If you’ve got the old url, update your bookmark:Â www.GeebasOnParade.com.
Thanks to Keenspot for all the years of hosting!
I’ve done the “head in DCG boobs” joke too often so in the second panel I drew myself falling asleep with my head on her chest. The woman in the sun glasses is Wendi from Browncoats: Redemption and the woman in the middle is Eva who is the amazing colorist of Dawn. The t-shirts say “Self Rescuing Princess” and “Martial Arts and Crafts“. The bra shop is Trousseau.
