Turns out that you have contractions for a looooong time before all the screaming and pushing that you see in the movies. Having Gin of Red String over for dinner definitely made for an interesting night.

Gina is an amazing woman and now has a very healthy baby girl. Her webcomic is awesome but sometimes you have to pick one and here’s a hint; you can’t easily re-schedule giving birth. She was determined to do both though. “Yeah, I can run my table at Dragon Con… I’m due that week, but I can do it. Run the table during the day, go pop out a kid, be back at the table in the morning. Yeah, I can do it!” Even I told her she needed to cut down on the conventions. The woman is amazing!
Oh yeah, and I think my guest art is still up over at Red String. Go check it out! and maybe donate some money for diapers. I hear that shit gets expensive.

Pete Abrams from Sluggy will be there along with Rob Balder from Erfworld. I’ll get to hang out with a fellow Atlanta commuter Bill Holbrook from Kevin and Kell and it’s not often that I get a chance to pick on “Mookie” from Dominic Deegan. But it’s okay, his wife said I could. ooh! ooh! and Steve and Garth and I’ll get to see my friends from Cosplay Burlesque and get some drooling in and and and wow, yeah, this should be a good weekend.
No, we haven’t replaced the television since it was stolen last Christmas. I’m chipping in to get Obby another one for his birthday but we’re beefing up security first. Gotta get bars on the windows so that it will stay inside the apartment this time.
Anyone getting those drop down banner ads?
Obby is doing amazing things with my website and the advertising. I’m not used to being payed for just doing the comic. He spoils me.
