I went back and forth with her about how I had replaced the lightbulbs when they blew, why do I need to buy all new ones? She said they weren’t the same dim yellow ones as when we moved in. So I had to replace all of them. The contract said “leave it like it was when we moved in”.

She actually said she wasn't the kind of person to count every dollar and I honestly thought she was telling a joke.

Of the $2,320 worth of security deposits that she had gathered over the 7 years, we got $400 back.
