The Starless Sea is Beautifully written but I’m yelling at the main guy because he’s just randomly stumbling upon plot. Literally tripping over it.
I think I puttered off of The War of Two Queens “no no, we have a plan” our plan is to walk into a trap with no plan… great plan.
There’s a choking joke in there somewhere but I need more sleep.
In parenthood, the only way you get those few precious alone time moments for self care is when you steal them from sleep.
As parents, we are discouraged to take care of ourselves. And also, you increase milk production by resting. So it’s good for the baby if you’re a bit more selfish.
