During the pandemic you could be with the pregnant lady but you couldn’t leave and come back. You could leave, but they weren’t letting anyone in who wasn’t already there in the begging. So if parents didn’t have someone to be home with kid or animal or whatever, the mom was on her own at the hospital. Viv was born two years ago in 2021 and there was enough restrictions lifted that my mom was able to come watch Liz while Obby and I were in the hospital. We did have to stay masked the entire time, which was hard to stay on top of. Covid was fucking up so many pregnant ladies, they were not messing around.
I kinda did this comic before because the newborns do this! “oh, what nice cool air on my bum. How relaxing. Think I’ll just let loose riiiight…. …. …. …. now.”
I did re-use the drawing of the changing table because it IS the same changing table… nothing to do with laziness. nope.
